I bought a Homedics Shiatsu Massager last year and it has proven to be a God send. I suffer from occasional back problems, and 90% of the time, this product can make a significant difference in resolving any issues that I have. There is a good range of settings so that you can pinpoint and work on the problem area with reasonable accuracy.

I would recommend that you wear a loose jumper whilst using this machine. It can be quite robust, which is excellent for soft tissue massage, but a bit uncomfortable too close to skin. The manufacturers recommend using a towel, and I am sure that would do fine.

This gets five out of five from me personally. I would be lost without it. Well, not lost, but probably committed to hundreds of dollars of physiotherapy.

I do not really know what the quality of this product is. I bought it as a Christmas gift to someone, who, it turns out, doesn't intend to use it. it has never been taken out of the carrying case/box. But I'll donate it to a charity organization for auction and take a tax credit. The auctioneer seemed to think this item would be a very good one to feature.

My wife purchased the Homemedics Deluxe Shiatsu (1)for me for Christmas from Bed Bath & Beyond. The first one (of 3 so far) had a problem with one the vibrator not turning on. So I exchanged it for a new one. The second one worked well for 2 weeks. Yesterday it would not turn off. The only way to turn it off was to pull the plug. This morning I exchanged this one for another new one again. I returned home and plugged it it and it started without turning on the switch. I turned on the switch while it was already running to see if it would reset it's self after the 15 minute cycle time ran out. No such luck. Again the only way I can turn this peace a junk off is to pull the plug. So tomorrow I will be returning it again. But this time I will take a refund. It is a shame because it does a good massage but a little strong for some. But the quality of the electronics is very poor. I don't think I could ever trust this thing to be left plugged in over night or while out of the house.

Good pressure. Works great. Just seems like there isn't enough coverage between the upper rollers and the lower rollers. Just wish the upper rollers went down farther and the lower rollers went up farther because the upper mid back gets missed.

This product has helped me so much. I have tightness and pain in my shoulders...used to be every morning. When my grandson was here, he would massage my upper shoulders so I could get my day started. But he went off to school and I was really suffering. No more. When I first got the item, I used it every morning. Now I only need it about twice a week or after I've overdone something. My friends come over to use it. (I should charge them for the service...lol!) One lady was almost housebound. I insisted that she come over and use the shoulder massage. What a difference. She literally danced; swinging her arms. She was so happy. She and I both say that this item is worth every penny! There is a little squeak in the massager, but I did not want to return it because I did not want to be without it for even a day. I will buy it again if it ever breaks down.

I like the option of heat, plus the option of massaging the shoulders. A great value for the money.
